Snow Day
Five years ago, I put a pair of ski gloves in my Jeep thinking someday they’d be needed. Today I was vindicated. Yesterday’s high was upper 60′s. Today it’s 36. During lunch, with almost two inches of snow on the ground, I decided to make some snow people. So with that, I’ve satiated my need to play in the snow for another year.
The sudden blizzard (by Austin standards) is just one more event in what’s been a very odd second-half of February. Last Thursday, a moron flew his plane into the IRS building less than a block away. Monday, at the White House’s request, our site CreditCards.com (hey Rudy…get that?) hosted an online town hall to discuss the new credit card law. And February’s not over—I wonder if there’s more to come.
